Quick Review: In a delightful blend of human emotion and giant monsters destroying cities, Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla is not only a refreshing twist to the franchise, but a great summer hit that will keep you on the edge of you seat (though it might take a little to get there).
Quick Review: Will you have a good laugh? Yes. In a group or at a party, Neighbors is a movie no one will truly be offended by or have a problem with. But compared to others in its genre like Animal House or Old School, Neighbors' writing, directing, and acting make it fall…
#kayberttakesorlando Final Day: It was a bittersweet moment, knowing that this would be our last arrival to Universal for vacation, but @klyn_h and I took advantage of every opportunity to have a blast. First, Food. Italian and Gelato, could you ask for anything better? After watching The Mummy last night (Kaylyn for the first time, surprisingly), we rode the ride named after the undead Egyptian. Exiting The Mummy brought us to Transformers, so transformed and rolled out again. Next up was the Final Rematch at Men in Black, and of course, Kaylyn beat me 205,225 to 68,375. After MIB, we went to the Fear Factor Live show. All I’ll say is “Scorpions on a girl’s face.” And Kaylyn was done. Next up on our greatest hits was the Rockit Roller Coaster one last time and another Minionization at the Despicable Me ride, finishing up our Universal Tour for the day. With smiles on our faces, we re-entered Island’s of Adventure, helping Spider-Man once again stop the Sinister Syndicate. Jurassic Park, which had been closed until today, was finally open, so we went on the River Adventure. Praise be to T-Rex: We Got Soaked. Luckily we got to dry off with our final and favorite ride, the Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle. With rides complete, Kaylyn and I finished our shopping, I said goodbye to Iron Man, and we pigged out at Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville. Despite having to leave, we needed one picture together at the Universal Globe, and it couldn’t have come out any better. Perfect vacation. Perfect girl. End of story. (at Universal Orlando Resort)
